Renee Wiggins is an author and fitness professional with 20 years experience in the health industry.  As a nutritionist, Renee counsels people with Diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesteremia and for weight management as well as gastric-by-pass surgery patients.  In 1989, Renee joined the local YMCA, where she became a trainer.  She works with seniors, children and adults with chronic diseases.

Renee has written a badly needed book entitled “Can I Exercise Sitting Down?” because so many of her clients were stressed out from work and didn’t want to exercise.  So she modified some of the exercises to a sitting down position.  Renee says you can still get a good workout, tone your muscles and increase your flexibility.  These are exercises that can be done at your desk at work or from your favorite chair.  She is a member of American Dietetic Associates and American Council on Exercise.
