Rob Wickes, author of "The Myth America Pageant," is an Ordinary Joe. He lives in Small Town, USA. His office is, literally, on Main Street. He knows what it is like to make payroll, pay suppliers, and deal with rising costs, contracts, multitudes of taxes, and mountains of regulations. He’s just another baby boomer who grew up in a decent, healthy environment, and was given a good set of values with which to face life’s problems and challenges. His chances and opportunities were only ordinary. Not rich. Not poor. Just in the Goldilocks middle. Nothing special. No special talents. No special advantages. No special breaks. Just the common sense guy next door. Just an ordinary guy.
