Synopsis: The path to peace, happiness, contentment, success and fulfillment and overcoming the stress and strain of daily living in our fast-paced, materialistic world - can occur through spiritual transformation, as author, inspirational speaker and psychotherapist Phyllis Reid
knows from personal experience. She offers the tools for making these
life-affirming changes in "Anchor in the Spirit as God Beings - More than
Mere Human."

The book is divided into four sections that walk readers through all
the steps needed for them to undergo spiritual transformation:

* Section 1 - the human conditions that lead to and allow for spiritual
transformation.
* Section 2 - thoughts, beliefs and discourses for transformation from
human to spiritual consciousness.
* Section 3 - step by step approaches through prayer, meditation,
songs, psalms, chants, insights and disciplines that effectuate changes in
consciousness.
* Section 4 - methods that support living in the spirit and answering
the call to live a more spiritual life.

Reid s own personal struggles inform the book: Leaving the security of
home, career, friends, community, acceptance and stability in Jamaica
to begin anew in the U.S. was difficult. "Anchor in the Spirit as God
Beings - More than Mere Human" was written from the experience of coping
and adjusting at the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
