Hope Renewed: Picking UP the Pieces After Loss equips the reader to survive a personal loss and better understand ourselves and each other's struggle in loss. Among many things, it confides the best way to break the bad news, explains how shock is really a gift in disguise, describes what body mapping is, and shares what corrodes a marriage after a child dies. Finally, it reveals why closure is not closure, and how love is constant beyond death.

Reviewer Carrie Freitag, MPS, states: "Hope Renewed combines the broad range of circumstances and reactions surrounding death into one resource. It will serve both the recently bereaved and their comforters well emotionally, practically, and spiritually. The author's broad personal experience with grief adds a sense of warmth, understanding, and realness to the material."
