Jayel Gibson
Following a 13 year teaching career which earned her two ‘Teacher of the Year’ awards, Jayel Gibson’s sense of mythology drove her to create the Ancient Mirrors Tales, a series of books that delve into an ancient and magical world. She is an Amazon Celtic Mythology bestselling author, and the recipient of two USA Book News ‘2007 Best Books’ Finalist Awards, and the 2008 National Indie Excellence Award for fantasy and science fiction. In addition to a full-time writing career, Jayel serves as an adjunct professor at Southwestern Oregon Community College, where she teaches the writing for publication workshop series, “From Brainstorm to Book and Beyond.” She has been a contributor for Dallas Child and Louisiana Parents magazines, Education.com and Thefatherlife.com.
