Lesley DuTemple

Lesley DuTemple is an award winning author of more than two dozen children's books. Her work ranges from pre-school (One Little Balsam Fir) through high school reading level (The Complete Idiot's Guide to Life Science).A native of the Great Lakes region (Chicago’s north shore and Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula), she graduated from the University of California, San Diego as a Dean’s List Scholar, and did post-graduate work (M.B.A. in marketing) at the University of Southern California, as well as post-graduate work at the University of Utah (M.A. Graduate School of Architecture). She lives in Eagle River, MI, with her attorney husband, two children, and an assortment of animals, both wild and domesticated. The family also spends time at their home on the Snake River in Idaho.
