Synopsis: Andrew's greatest love is to draw ships and maps of an invented country. When Andrew's uncle disappears and leaves behind a mysterious leather pouch, the imaginative boy uses it to store the pictures of ships he draws. To his surprise, he begins to receive letters in the pouch, asking for more. Andrew comes to the reluctant conclusion that somehow, somewhere, his drawings are becoming real. As he is pulled into a distant conflict he doesn't understand, his drawings become the last desperate hope of a tiny nation fending off a cruel foe, and may be the key to recovering his beloved uncle.
